My bowl is a representation of what hunger means to me.  There are so many without food and in poverty in our world, while there are many that have an abundance of worthless material items.  Life flourishes and grows where there is food.  The words "Don't deny someone food to grow" start at the top of the bowl and grow down towards the bottom.  The words follow the course of a vine, which represents life, down toward the seeds at the bottom of the bowl.  The seeds represent the buds or beginning of life.  The seeds grow into a vine only with food and nourishment.  On the outside of the bowl there are leaves, which are the end result of food, nourishment, and love.  The same three colors were used throughout the bowl to connect all parts of the growth cycle.  The words were in a dark blue to illustrate the message present in the bowl, we need to ensure all people have food which will allow them to flourish and grow.
