The bowl I decorated for Empty Bowls is a symbol for hunger all over the world. The open, empty mouth with the tongue hanging out along with the dead faces symbolizes how deadly the lack of food is in many countries. The words "FEED ME" are what starving people all over the world are saying. The water flowing out of the bowl is meant to show that we have enough food on earth to feed everyone but people are still starving to death.
