The piece that I designed is very complex and has a lot going on with it. I chose to make it into many pieces and color each individual piece a different, very bright, type of color. In the middle is the word hunger with a question mark and that spot isn’t colored at all except for white. I left that one spot blank on purpose to emphasize the fact that some people’s stomachs are empty or just the hunger issue in general. Have people forgotten about the situation at hand and how serious it is? It all comes together because all the colors represent all the chaos in the world and how it’s masking up the real issues such as hunger. Sometimes we just need to stop and think about what’s truly going on.
